Head into the wilderness of the Thar Desert with our guided Desert National Park Safari and experience a closer look at its rich and diverse ecosystem.
This tour is carefully designed to offer an unforgettable experience of exploring the flora and fauna of the desert. Travel through the Desert National Park in a jeep, enjoy dining on the sand dunes, go on a camel safari, witness a mesmerizing sunset, and relax under the star-lit sky. During winters, you can also enjoy a cozy bonfire experience.
Please Note: Entry tickets to Desert National Park are not included in the package.
Day 1
- Departure from Jaisalmer at around 8:00 AM
- Arrival at Desert National Park by around 10:00 AM and begin jeep safari
- Spot a variety of wildlife including birds, reptiles, mammals like Great Bustards, gazelles, and desert foxes
- Explore vast sand dunes and desert vegetation
- Proceed to desert camp for a delicious vegetarian lunch
- Rest, freshen up, and relax at the camp (Swiss tent or cottage)
- Head to camel point and receive a warm welcome from guides
- Enjoy a camel ride (approx. 1 hour, one camel per person)
- Reach the dunes and enjoy tea, snacks, and a beautiful sunset
- Dinner around bonfire (in winters only)
- Option to stay overnight under the stars or return to the city
Day 2
- Wake up early to witness a beautiful sunrise
- Spend some time exploring the dunes
- Enjoy a healthy breakfast
- Camel ride back to the jeep point
- Return to Jaisalmer with unforgettable memories
